How it works
Buddy Groups let Team Leaders pair service attendants so they clean rooms together as a team. Perfect for training new staff, handling large suites, or simply getting more done with teamwork.
Creating a group
Open the More menu and tap Buddy Groups. Press + to create a group and select 2-3 service attendants. Each SA shows their current task count so you can make balanced pairings.
Merge or Keep Personal
When selected members already have assigned tasks, a dialog appears with two options:
- Merge Tasks โ Combine all tasks into shared team tasks. Both members see and work on all rooms together.
- Keep Personal โ Tasks stay individually assigned. Only new assignments go to the group.
Assigning tasks to a group
On the Tasks screen, select rooms and tap Assign. The buddy group appears at the top of the assignee list with overlapping avatars and a blue highlight. Tasks assigned to the group are shared between all members.
Service Attendant experience
Each buddy member sees their combined workload: team tasks (shared with buddy) plus individual tasks (assigned only to them). A buddy banner at the top shows who they are paired with.
Inspect view
On the Inspect screen, the TL and HK Manager see buddy groups with overlapping avatars and combined progress. All team rooms appear together under the group header.
Disbanding a group
When the day is over or pairing is no longer needed, tap Disband on the group card. Tasks that were already started or completed stay linked to the group for accurate records. Only unstarted tasks return to the unassigned pool.
